Benny Abys Cattery is dedicated to placing robust, well-nurtured kittens into loving and responsible homes. Every kitten is raised with meticulous attention to health, nutrition, and early developmental needs.

Veterinary Examination

Each kitten is examined by a licensed veterinarian prior to adoption and is certified to be in excellent health at the time of placement. Kittens receive age-appropriate vaccinations, deworming treatments, and routine wellness care. A complete written health record and vaccination history are provided to the adopter at the time of adoption.

Initial Health Period

Adopters are required to have their kitten examined by a licensed veterinarian within 72 hours of adoption (excluding weekends and holidays). This examination serves to confirm the kitten’s health status and ensures a successful transition into its new environment. If a licensed veterinarian diagnoses a serious, life-threatening illness or congenital condition within this 72-hour window, the adopter must notify Quality Benny Abys Cattery immediately and submit official written veterinary documentation.

Coverage and Resolution

If a qualifying condition is medically confirmed within the initial health period, Benny Abys Cattery may, at its discretion:

Provide a replacement kitten of equal value when one becomes available, or
Issue a full refund of the adoption fee.
Please note: Veterinary costs, diagnostic testing, medications, transportation, and related expenses are the sole responsibility of the adopter and are not covered under this guarantee.

Exclusions

This health guarantee does not cover:

Minor or treatable conditions such as parasites, mild upper respiratory infections, or common digestive adjustments.
Illnesses resulting from stress, environmental changes, or improper care following adoption.
Injuries, accidents, or neglect occurring after placement.
Normal breed characteristics, size potential, coat variations, or cosmetic conditions.
Behavioral traits or training-related challenges.

Long-Term Health

Benny Abys Cattery does not guarantee adult size, temperament, reproductive fertility, or future medical conditions that may develop after the kitten leaves our care. Routine veterinary visits, high-quality nutrition, proper grooming, and preventative health measures are the ongoing responsibility of the adopter.

Rehoming Requirement

If an adopter is unable to keep their kitten at any time, Benny Abys Cattery requires that the cat not be surrendered to a shelter or sold to a third party. We ask to be contacted directly so we can assist with responsible rehoming efforts. No refunds are provided in these circumstances.

Agreement

By completing an adoption through Benny Abys Cattery, the adopter acknowledges and agrees to the terms outlined in this Health Guarantee.
