Shipping and Delivery Policy
At Benny Abys Cattery, the safety, comfort, and well-being of every kitten are paramount. We take exceptional care to ensure that all delivery and pickup arrangements are handled responsibly and humanely.
Pickup Options
In-person pickup is available and highly encouraged whenever feasible. Specific pickup details, timing, and locations are coordinated directly with the adopter once the adoption process is approved. Kittens are released only when they are healthy, of appropriate age, and medically cleared for placement.
Delivery Services
When in-person pickup is not possible, delivery arrangements may be available depending on your location and schedule. All delivery methods prioritize the kitten’s safety and stress-free travel, arranged through trusted, experienced pet transport professionals. Delivery options may include:
Ground transport via professional pet handling services.
Flight nanny services, where the kitten travels in the cabin accompanied by a trained courier.
Please Note: Unaccompanied cargo shipping is strictly not used to ensure the safety of our kittens.
Delivery Fees
Delivery and transport fees are not included in the adoption fee unless explicitly stated. All delivery costs are the responsibility of the adopter and must be settled in full before transport arrangements are finalized. Delivery fees are non-refundable once the transport service has been booked.
Scheduling and Timing
Delivery timelines vary based on destination, weather conditions, courier availability, and the kitten’s developmental readiness. Estimated delivery dates are provided as a guideline but are not guaranteed. Benny Abys Cattery reserves the right to delay delivery if travel conditions are deemed unsafe or not in the kitten’s best interest.
Health and Travel Clearance
Kittens are cleared for travel only after meeting strict age, health, and vaccination requirements. Essential health documentation required for transport will be provided prior to delivery.
Transfer of Responsibility
Once the kitten has been safely delivered and received by the adopter, full responsibility for the kitten’s care transfers to the adopter. We encourage adopters to schedule a veterinary wellness check shortly after arrival.
Failed or Refused Delivery
If delivery cannot be completed due to incorrect information provided by the adopter, unavailability to receive the kitten, or refusal of delivery, any additional transport or care costs incurred will be the sole responsibility of the adopter. Adoption fees and delivery fees are non-refundable in these cases.
Weather and Safety Delays
Delivery may be postponed due to extreme weather, airline restrictions, or other unforeseen conditions that could compromise the kitten’s safety. Such delays are safety measures and do not qualify for refunds.
